The Mathematics Division of the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science offers a wide range of mathematical specializations in research and teaching, with both applied and pure mathematics equally represented.

The course impacts basic knowledge of scientific work. The focus is on, among other things: Differentiation of scientific from other text forms; Research- introduction to systematic searching and finding literature, Introduction to the most important subject-specific databases; Citing, the meaning of citation and plagiarism
