Selection & Advising

Selection and academic advising are carried out by the Erasmus Coordinator at the Mathematical Institute.
Please come to the ▷ Erasmus consultation hour for personal advising.

Application

Your application consists of a single PDF document containing the following materials:

• Motivation letter (description of your study plans abroad)
• Curriculum vitae
• Transcript of records

Motivation Letter / Study Plans Abroad

The motivation letter is the central element of your application.
In it, describe clearly and convincingly:

• Why do you want to study abroad?
• What exactly do you plan to study or deepen there?
• How does your plan fit into your previous academic path?
• How can it be implemented at the desired host university?
• What role does the stay abroad play in your future academic and professional career?

Tip: Take sufficient time to research and formulate your study plans.

Online Learning Agreement (OLA)

The Learning Agreement must be signed (online) by you, your home university, and your host university BEFORE the start of your studies abroad. Please take care of this as early as possible.
To support outgoing students in using the OLA, we have created a registration guide.
The OLA can be created either via the described online pathway (i.e., through the website) or alternatively via the Erasmus+ App.

The administrative organization and financial management of your stay abroad is handled by the
International Office. This includes:

• Management and disbursement of mobility grants
• Administrative advising for students
